The Team (some of them, anyway)

Alex Stevens, President

Alex comes from a long-form content and new technology background. He has run production for Discovery Channel networks domestically and around the world, launched new cable networks, created interactive television platforms at Cablevision and produced/EP'd hundreds of documentaries and specials.

Also, he loves to gamble and his head is really shiny.

Andrew Becker, Director of Client Service

Andrew has led client teams and managed projects across the web, mobile and experiential at companies such as and agency groups including Interpublic.

He has been accused of being a lumbersexual. Judge for yourself.

Genia Simkin, Director of Engineering

Genia brings decades of cross-platform technical experience to Blue Pixel. He made his technological bones in NYC at companies like CBS, Cablevision and his own development shop, Fistful of Digits. He then headed west and worked at cutting-edge mobile startups including Transpera before joining Blue Pixel Creates and founding our west coast tech group.

Oh, and he lives on a boat.

Rick McNealy, Creative Director

Rick is an Emmy-winning broadcast and interactive designer with credits across thousands of hours of programming as well as hundreds of experiential apps and activations. You may know his work best from ESPN's Sports Science, for which he created the original graphics package.

He has a son - we call him Little Ricky.

Cleo McDowell, Director of Human Resources

Cleo brings his years of experience as owner/operator of the wildly successful McDowell's restaurants to Blue Pixel.  His ability to bring together diverse teams from varying backgrounds is highly valued by us and our clients.  A native of Queens, he recently returned from several years living in Zamunda, where his daughter Lisa and son-in-law, Prince Akeem Joffer, are masters of all they survey.

He has another daughter.

Clarence Beeks, Director of Business Intelligence

Mr. Beeks comes to us after a long career at the firm of Duke & Duke. He is an expert in data acquisition, security and management.

He has a strange hatred of oranges and gorillas.
